Everything you need to know about ELVA.
ELVA is a learning initiative built around hybrid intelligence — the discipline of training human judgment and AI capability together, on real problems, with real consequences. It is based in Skellefteå, Sweden, and run by the SUA Foundation.
Hybrid intelligence is the practice of working with AI as a genuine cognitive partner — letting it carry what it's good at, and leading yourself when it falls short. It means knowing when to trust your own judgment, when to defer to AI, and when to push back on both. That instinct only develops under genuine pressure, on work that actually matters.
ELVA is an initiative of the SUA Foundation, a non-profit based in Skellefteå. The Foundation's work centres on building conditions for meaningful learning — the kind that develops judgment, not just skills. ELVA is its flagship model for doing that in the age of AI.
